How fast the disc must be thrown to fly as intended. Scale of 1–14. A speed 9 disc is forgiving and works well at moderate arm speeds.

How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.

High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.

Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

Discraft modified the overstable Raptor fairway driver to be even more overstable. Great utility disc for fighting strong headwinds and extreme hyzer angles and skip shots.

Discraft on the Captain's Raptor

This disc was inspired by Team Discraft Captain, Paul Ulibarri. This will be a once per year, limited edition release with the stamp changing every year. Order these quickly because once they are gone, that’s it until the following year. The Captain’s Raptor is an over-stable fairway driver that is meant for professionals and highly advanced players. The Captain’s Raptor will be great in windy conditions and considered a ‘get out of jail utility disc.'

Weight
Show every weight. Use this to reset the weight filter. Lighter discs are easier to throw far with less arm speed. Great for younger players or windy conditions. Mid-range weights suit most players. A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
