Speed
How fast the disc must be thrown to fly as intended. Scale of 1–14. A speed 7.0 disc is forgiving and works well at moderate arm speeds.

Glide
How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.

Turn
High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.

Fade
Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

Discmania on the FD2

The FD2 is a true workhorse fairway driver designed to offer a straight-to-stable flight pattern with a dependable fade. Its ergonomic profile and relatively mild glide help you keep your shots on-line and on the fairway. Discs produced before mid-2025 using the FD1 name actually use the same mold as the current FD2, as we've rearranged our fairway line up in an effort to create more consistent naming for the FD family.

Weight
Show every weight. Use this to reset the weight filter. Lighter discs are easier to throw far with less arm speed. Great for younger players or windy conditions. Mid-range weights suit most players. A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
